I was invited by LA based children's clothing designer Alexandra Kearle to enter the final stage of a competition she was running. I shot both on location in Kew Gardens which is near where I live as well as some with a simple strobe set up against a white wall.
I got the chance to work with Denise Lewis OBE again. I have worked with her many times over the past 5 years and she is always an inspiration and a lot of fun. We had a very short amount of time and no specified space to shoot, Denise had just been at a UK School Games reception at No.10 and we needed to get the images straight after so we popped over to St James Park.
I was comissioned by Yellowdoor PR to shoot the Joy Formidable, the last gig on Clarks 'originals live' tour. Clarks having been getting increasingly more involved in the music sector to enhance their brand. The Originals Live tour played at really interesting venues all over the UK including a disused swimming pool in Manchester.
